Celery Seed is the dried fruit of Apium graveolens. The tiny greenish brown seeds have pale ridges and a characteristic celery aroma and bitter celery taste. It is generally grown in India and China. It is often used sparingly in pickling recipes, soups, salads, and meat dishes and pairs well with eggplant, fish, eggs, peas, potatoes, stuffing, and tomatoes.
