Farm Market Open, Flea Market Closed during outbreak

Leighty’s Flea Market was ready to open April 5th for the season. However, in light of the closures of businesses that are ‘non-life sustaining’, it will NOT BE OPENING until the orders from Governor Wolf are lifted. Once the governor gives the go ahead, it will be open the following Sunday. Check Facebook for the exact day.

Please follow all recommendations so we can collectively be safe and done with all this. Prayers that you all stay healthy and safe!

Leighty's Boot Warehouse, Leighty's Golf World & Skills Games and Leighty’s Flooring by Knisely will also not be open until restrictions are lifted.

Leighty’s Farm Market & Flower World Greenhouse will be open daily as food businesses are considered ‘life sustaining’. Hours are as normal, daily 7 am-9 pm. The quietest hours to shop are the first two hours and the last two hours. We give throw away gloves at the door for all customers, sanitize all door handles, carts, baskets, counters, and credit card machines with a spray that kills COVID-19. We sanitize after each customer use. Our register employees let you handle your own items and bag them yourselves, as we check your items out. Less touching of food is safer. Our produce stockers wear gloves also. Please, let’s all try to follow all recommendations so we can all get back to normal! Stay healthy. Stay safe.

Cleaning out the house? The Farm Market collects gently used toys, clothes, household items, and non-expired nonperishable foods for The Fathers House, a charity/food pantry which is completely nonprofit and is based out of a church in Altoona. This organization takes your old stuff and distributes it for free to local folks in need. All you have to do is bring your clean items with you on your next visit to the Farm Market, and we’ll take care of the rest!

*Donations accepted year-round. Find a collection cart inside the front of the farm market. ALL items gladly accepted, with a particular need for winter clothing during the winter.
